ROOT CAUSE: ACCESS TO CARE
- Language Barriers: provider not knowing language; racism; discrimination;
lack of education.
- Work schedule/hours of care/inaccessible hours: lack of evening
& after hours; lack of childcare; traffic; and limited public
transportation.
- Customer service: lack of; staff relationships; under representating
minorities; cultural competency.
- Distrust of authority: illegal aliens; past history; information
forms; perception of gov't ties.
- Uninsured: No money; competing priorities; cost prohibitive; cost
of transportation; cost of childcare.
- Location: works on a community level; transportation; desire for
anonymity
