The Research Division of TCADA performed an internal needs analysis approximately
three years ago, developed a model for distribution of public treatment resources
and then made estimates of treatment needs per 100,000 adults (ages 18-64).
This research was led by then Director of Research, Richard Spence, Ph.D. This
