Thank you to all who attended the Central Texas African American Family Support Conference (CTAAFSC) in February! This year’s Planning Committee is excited to announce that the 11th CTAAFSC will take place Thursday, Feb. 3 – Friday, Feb. 4 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Austin in downtown Austin (208 Barton Springs Rd.). In honor of the CTAAFSC’s participants, a new theme has been chosen – Resources to Empower Consumers, Youth and Families – for the upcoming year and into the future . As planning commences for next year’s conference, we remain committed to our mission in the promotion of youth involvement and strengthening family awareness of available health care services through culturally sensitive education, supports, and partnerships. Join us in our mission and share this information and encourage community members and families you know might benefit from the conferment to attend this free event!
