To continue a dialogue with citizens about the health status of our community, the Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department  is hosting its fifth public forum.

The meeting will provide information about available department and partners’ programs and activities and help assess needs for future or enhanced public health services. Presenters will also share the most current health data for their area and solicit input from participants. Ideas and feedback gathered from the meetings will help create a framework to plan for delivery of public health programs.

The first 50 participants who stay for the entire meeting will receive a $20 gift card. Free health screenings will be offered from 5-6pm, and from 8-9 pm, and refreshments will be served.

Subsequent meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of the next three months at various locations throughout Austin and Travis County: Oak Hill on July 26; Jonestown on August 23; and Dove Springs on September 27.
