Just a quick reminder that the Texas Early Learning Council is hosting a meeting this Friday, March 30th in Austin.

Location: Texas Workforce Commission, 1117 Trinity Street, Room 304BT, Austin, Texas 78701

Time: 9:30am to 11:00am

The Council will brief the public on the status of their initiatives and hear invited public testimony related to their early education efforts. The Council invites members of the public to offer testimony on the following subjects:

What are the professional development needs of the Texas early care and education workforce?
How can higher education support the early care and education workforce?
What are the best models of outreach to parents on early care and education issues and services?

If you plan to offer testimony to the Council, please provide at least one written copy for public record. Public testimony is limited to three minutes per person, but the Council will accept written testimony at any length. If you plan to testify, please arrive 5-10 minutes early. When you arrive, sign in with the Council staff and provide your written testimony.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to submit testimony, please email a copy of your testimony to StateAdvisoryCouncil@uth.tmc.edu by Thursday, March 29, 2012.
