Austin/Travis County Family Violence Task Force meeting
Dear Task Force Members:

meet in Lifeworks' new South building located at 825 Pleasant Valley Road
from 12 noon - 1:30 pm.*
This will be an exciting meeting on Monday - there are a lot of items to
discuss:
-The Project Review Committee has been re-named the Governance Committee
and the Legislative Committee has been re-named the Policy Committee.
-The Governance Committee reviewed the by-laws and will recommend
significant changes on Monday to be voted on in February. Two of the most
significant changes are the mission statement and membership.
-We will vote on our new logo that was proposed in October 2011. See the
attached agenda to see the logo again. Thank you again to the very
talented *Kimberly Dillon* from Travis County Counseling and Education
Services for her generous gift of designing the logo.
-The new meeting schedule of 3rd Mondays *except* for Holidays when we we
will then meet on the 4th Monday. (This may coincide with CJC meetings).
-We will continue our roundtable discussion of risk assessment. Thank you
to APD and TCSO for talking with us in November! We will have Pre-Trial
Services at the table on Monday!
