Survivors of suicide loss gather at hundreds of simultaneous healing conferences around the world every year on International Survivors of Suicide Day to connect with others who have survived the tragedy of suicide loss, and express and understand the powerful emotions they experience.
- Survivors of suicide loss share their stories and offer practical guidance for newly bereaved survivors.
- Experts explain the basics of what we currently know about suicide and grief.
- Sharing sessions, local speakers, and healing activities will be offered at the Austin conference site.
Visit afsp.org/survivorday to find a city that's hosting a conference near you on November 19th or to watch the program free of charge online in English, Spanish, or French. International Survivors of Suicide Day is always the third Saturday in November, but you can also watch past programs online at any time throughout the year.
