Thermal Underwear Party

We ask the citizens of Austin to help us raise the funds to clothe every person experiencing homelessness in Austin in hope of preventing further deaths from hypothermia and deteriorated health. This year's Thermal Underwear Party when we distribute life saving thermal underwear, hats, gloves, socks, scarves will be on January 2nd 2011. Once again, the South Austin Gospel band will rock the house. The kitchen burst with cakes, pies and cheeses, hams and turkeys. House the Homeless will conduct a Survey focusing on Civil Rights issues. If YOU would like to volunteer, we will have two shifts.

First Shift: 11:00-1:00 pm involves set up and distribution.
Second Shift: 1:00-3:00 pm involving distribution and clean-up.

This will again be held with our friends at the First Baptist Church at 903 Trinity Streets. If You would like to get involved, call or e-mail us and we'll make it happen.
