On November 16 at 11:00 a.m. at a rally on the south steps of the State Capitol building, Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Texas, alongside our city, county, and state partners, will announce MADD’s rating of our state’s progress in implementing proven drunk driving countermeasures.

he rally also coincides with our kickoff to the 2011 holiday drunk driving crackdown and the fifth anniversary of MADD’s Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving.

We would like to invite all MADD’s partners and friends to wear something red and come down to the Capitol building that morning to celebrate our progress and to show legislators and the community your support for the elimination of drunk driving in Texas.

Parking is free for the first two hours at the Capitol Visitor’s Parking Garage at 12th Street and Trinity. The Capitol building is located at 1100 Congress Avenue in Austin.
