Come to this FREE 1-day training to learn how to effectively help clients with mental health issues, substance abuse issues, or who are experiencing homelessness, break the cycle of tobacco addiction. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost.

This training is for medical providers, mental health providers, case managers, counselors or program coordinators working with these special populations. It will teach:

Each participant will receive a tool kit with tools and resources to help clients become tobacco-free. 

6.5 CEUs available for RN, LVN, LPC, SWS, LMFT or LCDC. Participants must sign in at the beginning of the meeting and stay the entire presentation. CEUs and a certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the training.

Nursing contact hours have been applied for through the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
