Please join us at a breakfast briefing for the release of the 2011 National Kids Count Data Book: America's Children, America's Challenge: Promoting Opportunity for the Next Generation.

Texas Kids Count Director Frances Deviney will share the latest state and national data on how Texas' kids fare compared to the rest of the U.S. The 2011 National Kids Count report examines trends in the economic well-being of children and families in the wake of the recession. Following the data presentation, a panel of CPPP policy experts will discuss the implications for our state's economic future and answer questions from participants.

Join us for this data and policy-rich discussion on where we stand now and how we can improve outcomes for kids while building a vibrant economy.

All attendees will receive a copy of the 2011 National Kids Count report.

The Annie E. Casey Foundation produces the National KIDS COUNT Data Book and is generously supporting this event.
