Caring for a senior can often take a heavy physical and emotional toll on the spouse or adult child who is the primary caregiver. It’s important for the continued health and safety of the caregiver to learn how to take care of themselves while also caring for their loved one. The next, free caregiver educational seminar takes place on Saturday, May 14, from 10am until noon in the Dining Room of the AGE building at 3710 Cedar Street. Our featured speaker, Amy Temperly, owner of Care Balance Coaching, will discuss ways to prevent caregiver burnout and will suggest ideas and techniques to ease the burden of caregiving. Please come prepared to laugh, have fun, and enjoy being pampered!
