On April 7, 2011, the Small Business Development Program is hosting the 4th annual Getting Connected Resource Fair. As you know, Getting Connected provides a forum for small business owners to meet representatives from non-profit organizations who offer assistance to small businesses. This is a crucial time for local entrepreneurs to “connect” with organizations like yours and to find the resources available to increase their success. We want you to be an exhibitor at this unique community event offered only once a year.

As previously mentioned, exhibitors will include not only non-profit organizations whose mission is to assist small businesses, but also government programs and agencies, area chambers of commerce, business networking organizations, and community development corporations. Your investment for the booth is only $25, plus the cost of electricity, if needed. Our RSVP deadline for exhibitors is March 24th. Please RSVP directly with Sarah Neely at 512.974.7636 or via email at Sarah.Neely@ci.austin.tx.us.

Last year’s Getting Connected event was a huge success. You can count on this year’s event being an incredible networking opportunity as well. More than 400 people are expected to attend so bring lots of business cards and promotional materials to share.

Getting Connected event location: Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road (Free Admission, Free Parking)
