Board of Directors - About

The CAN Board of Directors serve as the governing body of CAN. Their duties are to:

Support the organization's vision, mission, and purpose
Approve the strategic direction of the organization and ensure effective organizational planning to achieve the CAN mission
Select the Executive Director and support the Executive Director in fulfilling the CAN mission and role
Approve the CAN budget, provide financial oversight and ensure there are adequate resources to implement the CAN mission
Determine, monitor, and strengthen organizational programs and services
Enhance the organization's public standing
Ensure legal and ethical integrity and maintain accountability
Assess the performance of the CAN Board of Directors
