Community Action Network Call for Nominations

2011 Spirit of Collaboration Butler Award

The Spirit of Collaboration Butler Award, named in honor of former CAN Executive Director Fred Butler, is awarded to a collaboration that has worked to bring people, organizations, and groups together to collectively address community needs.  Collaborations may be CAN Issue Area Groups or other collaborative initiatives in Austin and Travis County that help to further the mission and vision of Community Action Network. 

Nominations may be submitted on-line at www.caction.org.  The deadline for nominations is 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011. 

The top three finalist organizations will be featured at the CAN End of Celebration and announced on the CAN website.  The winning collaboration will be announced at the End of Year Celebration and will be featured in the CAN website and in CANews.
